Deeper Learning New York

Chelsea Defino is the Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment at Saugerties Central Schools, where she leads professional learning around project-based and performance-based instruction, equity, and student empowerment. A former NASA Endeavor STEM Teaching Fellow and NYC Math for America fellow, she has 12 years of experience in professional development, leadership, science education, curriculum design, and instructional coaching across both New York City and the Hudson Valley. Chelsea has led professional learning at Teach for America's Summer Institute, STANYS, the New York State Council for Social Studies Conference, and the Murdock Trust Partners in Science Conference. among others.
